For the first time in the history of Indian television, a lead actor threw a farewell party for entire crew. The team of Jamai Raja wrapped up the shoot  yesterday of their 701 episode  series on Zee TV. The lead actor Ravi Dubey threw a big party on the sets for the entire cast, crew and all staff members. The actor personally extended the invite to each technician who has ever worked on the show in the past three years, the producers and the entire cast.

Ravi, who has been a part of the show since its launch was quite emotional and wanted to make this day memorable for each person who had in any way contributed in making the show a grand success. The revelry started with a small Pooja, followed by a cake cutting and of course some smashing and smearing of the cake to add to the fun. The entire cast and crew then got together and danced the night away. Ravi was seen doing the ‘Ganpati dance’ on popular number ‘Jhingaat’ and ensured everybody had a gala time on the dance floor.  Producer Meenakshi Sagar also acknowledged and rewarded each cast and crew member with a mini replica of the Oscar trophy thanking them for their hard work.

The last episode which will be telecast on 3rd March will see Satya (Ravi dubey) and Mahi (Shiny Doshi) being blessed with twin babies.
